You already realize why the Big Boxer is called exactly that when you start it up. You can feel the vast displacement on every mile along the way. With its typical boxer power development you can rely on at minimum 111 lb-ft between 2,000 and 4,000 rpm. The impressive torque and responsiveness provide fully fledged pleasure in the long term – relaxed, but never boring. You can comfortably eat up the miles on the R 18 Transcontinental: Dynamic Cruise Control (DCC) and optional Active Cruise Control independently control the speed and the distance to the vehicle ahead.
