The off-road traveller
Effortlessly through the terrain
Do you like taking detours, does your route usually take you over rugged slopes? The F 850 GS Adventure Rallye not only feels confident on asphalt, it is also at home off road. The off-road tires and Ride Modes Pro with Dynamic ESA help with agility, Shift Assistant Pro gives you control in unexpected situations. The adjustable footbrake lever and gearshift lever provide a secure grip. Headlight and engine guards provide the bike with outstanding protection, even when the going gets tough.
The optional off-road tires make full use of the bike's off-road potential.
Dynamic ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) automatically adjusts the damping action of the suspension strut based on the riding conditions.
With the Pro riding modes, the throttle and control systems of the machine can be easily adapted to different road situations.
The Pro Shift Assistant enables comfortable gear shifts without using the clutch.
This sturdy enduro aluminum engine guard was specially constructed for off-road use and provides optimal protection for the lower section of the engine.
The headlight guard, which has been approved for off-road use, is simply plugged in and effectively protects the headlight from damage in off-road conditions.

Does the heart of a globetrotter beat within you? Is no distance too far? The F 850 GS Adventure has everything you need to make endless tours even more comfortable : The black aluminum topcase as well as the aluminum case for both sides offer plenty of space, and with the “40 Years GS” lettering, you get an extra 27 liters of added volume. The TPC makes you feel secure. The cruise control and navigator, combined with the TFT display, make it even easier to get where you need to go.
The electronic cruise control can be activated beyond 20 mph and keeps the riding speed constant.
Aluminum topcase black
With its 32 liter volume, the black anodized aluminum topcase offers space for a BMW helmet, and it performs well even under extreme conditions.
Aluminum case black
The black anodized aluminum case provides 44 liters of storage space on the left and 36 liters on the right. You will be convinced of its utility, even under extreme conditions.
Case holder for aluminum cases
The sturdy case holder made of polished stainless steel allows for easy and secure attachment of the touring case.
Increased volume aluminum case set, 40 Years GS limited edition, black
The increased volume aluminum case set expands the case’s volume by 13.5 liters of luggage space per side for a total volume increase of 27 liters.
The Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) automatically warns the rider about pressure losses and provides information on potential dangers early.
